Larry Joe Bearden, 53, of Alexander, passed away on Monday, Dec. 21, 2009. Larry was born on Jan. 7, 1956 to George Franklin Bearden Sr. and Nervie Bell Jones Bearden in Benton.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles and George "Red" Bearden and three sisters, Margret Thompson, Gracie Bearden and Mary Sherell.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Alvie; three daughters, Shellie Henderson, Stacy Watkins and Crystal Bearden; two sons-in-law, Michael Henderson and Chris Watkins; two granddaughters, Haley Henderson and Anna Bearden; five grandsons, Dylan and Adam Henderson, Auston, Timmothy and Christopher Watkins; three brothers, Roy, Jimmy Don and Harrold Bearden; sister, Faye Saulston and many other relatives and friends who all loved and will miss him dearly.

Service will be held on Saturday at noon at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North, Bryant with brother Mark Sites officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Butler Cemetery.
