Bishop native Richard Barlow Sr., 64, died at Lone Pine Convalescent Hospital on March 3. Mr. Barlow was born May 8, 1925, and resided in Bishop most of his life. He served with the 511th and 101st Airborne divisions during World War II and Korea. He was the husband of Agnes Barlow of Bishop and the father of Richard Barlow Jr., Daniel Barlow and Jason Barlow of Bishop and Elaine Barlow of Big Pine. He was the brother of Steve Barlow Sr. and Betty Kinney both of Bishop. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. A cry dance will be held Friday evening at Mr. Barlow's residence. Services will be Saturday at Brune & Buck Mortuary chapel. Pastor Bob Barron will officiate with burial at Sunland Cemetery.
He is the son of John Barlow (1901-1952) and Katie Turner Barlow (1901-1969), both of California, USA.
