On September 10, 1910 he was united in marriage to Bessie Yeast. To this union was born one son, Orous Elmo Dalton of Fairfield, and a daughter, Margaret Dalton Kinder, of Henderson, Ky.
Surviving are his widow, a son, daughter, daughter in law, son in law, a sister, Mrs. William Hayes of Iuka, two half brothers, Thomas Anspach of Centralia, John Anspach of Iuka, and a half sister Mrs. Bessie Hurt of Fredrick, Md.
Funeral services were conducted at the Elm River Baptist church on September 7 th at 2 p.m. by Rev. Roy Collins. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery at Fairfield
