Corporal Brandon S. Gould, USMC, age 21 years, a resident of Fredericksburg, VA and formerly of 475 School St., Winchendon, died Saturday November 27 from injuries he received in an automobile accident in Fredericksburg while on his way to work.
He was born in Gardner January 22, 1983 and graduated from the Caldwell School in Fitchburg in 2001. Corporal Gould was an MP with the United States Marine Corp in Quantico, Virginia at the time of his death. He enjoyed woodworking, four wheeling, bike riding, auto repair, baseball and animals.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth A. (McNamara) Gould, whom he wed May 31, 2003, his father Michael J. Gould of Winchendon, his mother Wendy J. (Sawyer) Gould of Athol, one son who is expected to be born February 2, Brandon S. Gould, Jr., two brothers Joshua M. Gould of Athol and Sgt. Justin R. Gould, USMC of Winchendon, paternal grandparents Robert W. and Doris E. (Waltz) Gould of Ashburnham, maternal grandmother June A. Sawyer of Winchendon, two nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
