Milton Ross Morris, aged 73, prominent Whiteley Township farmer and stockman, died Saturday morning, March 17, 1945, at 11 a.m., after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Morris had been in failing health for some time and had been critically ill for the last week.

A lifelong resident of Whiteley Township, he was born July 9, 1871, a son of the late Henry and Eliza Morris, and spent all his life on the farm where he died. Mr. Morris was a member of the Fordyce Methodist Church. He married Carrie Zimmerman, who survives with two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Jesse (Ruth) Shultz, R. D. 2, Waynesburg; Mrs. Gurnie E. (Mary Emily) Rose, Madisonville, Ky.; Allen Kenneth Morris, R. D. 2, Waynesburg, and Edwin Harold Morris, Sewickley. He also leaves 16 grandchildren, and one brother, Andrew J. Morris, R. D. 2, Waynesburg.
