Lance Corp. Danny Eli Reid, 19, of 1871 Bethelea Avenue died Oct. 5, in Vietnam.
Cpl. Reid, a lifelong resident of Bibb County, was the son of J.C. Reid and Mrs. Dessie Marie Hester Reid.
He attended the Willingham High School and was a member of the West Lawn Baptist Church.
Survivors include,11 brothers; Troy Reid of Atlanta,
Roy Reid, Fred Reid, William Reid, Allen Wall,
Charles Wall all of Macon; Lamar Wall of Atlanta,
Bobby G. Reid, Jerry Reid, James E. Reid, all of Macon
and Ronnie Earl Reid of Germany; Two Sisters ,
Mrs. Betty (Reid) Henderson of Macon and
Mrs. Betty (Wall) Robinson of Atlanta; three Aunts,
Mrs. Ruth McDonald and Mrs. Nancy Aids both of Macon and Mrs. Neva Horton of Lizella; two Uncles Gordon Hester of Macon and Samuel B. hester of Gray.
Funeral arrangments will be announced by Hart's Mortuary.
The family will be at 1871 Bethlea Ave.






In 1966 He Joined the Marines and was out of training by 1967 He was sent to Vietnam Were he Served 3 months Before being wounded to the neck by shrapnel from Hostile mortar fire, he died from these wounds on 5 of October 1967. He recived the Purple Heart,National Defense Medal,Republic of Vietnam Srevice Medal,and the Chien-Dich Vietnam Medal
