Dad had once told me that he had a vision. A vision of the day he would pass away.

He told me, on more than one occasion, that when his time came, he wanted to be on the football field of the Ohio State Buckeye stadium while performing in the OSU Buckeye Alumni Band.

He wanted to be the one to "dot the I" in the band script formation spelling out "Ohio". It was then and there that he wanted to expire ... right on the field while "dotting the I " Dad did have a sense of humor !
