21 SEP 2020, SAC to add parental links. [Courtesy of Donna Rankin * Searching the Past. Tnx!]~ Bobby Lee "Pidge" Pigeon-TAHLEQUAH – Bobby Lee Pigeon "Pidge" was born Wednesday, Aug. 29, 1956, the son of Dewey D. and Barbara (Fritts) Pigeon in Tahlequah.
He enjoyed hunting, riding horses and mules, playing and coaching ball, smoking meat and was an avid outdoorsman.
Bobby Lee was a former president of the PKC and won many trophies showing his coon dogs. He enjoyed good memories and more than anything he loved his grandkids.
Bobby Lee passed from this life on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, in Tahlequah.
He was preceded in death by his father, and is survived by his mother, Barbara (Fritts) Pigeon; one son, Jesse Ray Pigeon of White Oak; two daughters, Christina Marie Worley and husband Jeff of Pryor, and LaTasha Jean Egnor and husband Ken of Vinita; one brother, Terry Martin Pigeon and wife Angela of Wagoner; three sisters, Delores Ann Turney and husband Randy of Hulbert, Deborah Kay Pritchett and husband Paul of Tahlequah, and Stephanie Lynn Waits of Bartlesville; five grandchildren, Tori Elizabeth Hogan, twin granddaughters Adia and Tava Egnor, Deighton Alexander Pigeon, and Emma Harley Ray Pigeon; three uncles, Willie Pigeon, Robert Pigeon, and Autry Gene J. Pigeon; and a host of other loved ones and friends.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, at Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel, with Rev. "Uncle" Willie Pigeon, Chaplain Kevin Webster and Rev. Dave Ketcher officiating. Burial will follow at Caney Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gary Gibson, Randy Gibson, Kent Davis, Rick Glory, Reddell Nolan and Sonny Bullett. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Egnor, Marvin Page, Tom Adams, Kenneth Still, Jim Rolland, Mac Robertson, Gerald Gibson and Travis Egnor.
Services are under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah. Visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 20, at the funeral home.Reed-Culver Funeral Home, 117 W. Delaware, 456-2551.
