Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, at Stewart Funeral Chapel in Hollis with Pastor Jim Westmoreland officiating. Interment followed at Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis.
Tammy Jo Sims was born Sept. 20, 1962, to Tommy Jo and Lacy (Cleaton) Sims in Hollis. She graduated from Hollis High School and joined the Air Force. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hollis. She loved watching Donny Osmond on TV.
Survivors include: her son, Rudy Cullen Sims of Hollis; her daughter, Samantha Cotton; her mother, Lacy Lloyd of Hollis; two brothers, Clint Sims and his wife Tonja of Glenrose, TX, and Bill Sims of Houston, TX; one niece, Shana Thompson; nephews, Shane Thompson, C J Sims, Tack Sims, T J Sims, William Sims, and Michael Sims; and one great niece, Te'unah Scott.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Jo (Spec) Sims; her grandmother, June Cleaton; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sims; and her stepfather, Bob Lloyd.
