George Nicholson.
Following an illness of over a year, George Nicholson, passed away this Wednesday morning, at his home at the edge of town.
Mr. Nicholson was 52 years old and is an old resident of Republic county (sic). He moved to Canada several years ago and on account of failing health returned about a year ago. He was a man of splendid character and will be missed in the community. His wife and several children survive.
The funeral will be held Friday morning at the Pleasant View church (sic), conducted by H.N. Richardson and burial will be made in the Chester cemetery (sic).
