Josephine Korzynska was from a border town in Poland called Tykocin, Poland. She was a daughter of John Korzynski and Philomena Srczczewski Kurzynska. She came to the United States in 1911. She married Konstanty Puzewski at St. Joseph's Church in Poughkeepsie, New York on Nov. 17, 1912. They had 4 children:
John Thomas Puzewski (1914-2005), Justin Albert Puzewski (1915-1956), Hedwig (Edna) (Jadz) Puzewska Hrenyo(1921-1988) and Irene Josephine Puzewska Moore (1930- 2014).
