Hannah (Fosgate) Edgar was the wife of John A. Edgar. They came to Estrella, San Luis Obispo County, CA to homestead in 1883 by wagon train, from San Jose, where they had lived for a year. In 1882 they had traveled by emigrant train to California with their 7 children born in Illinois. One child, Francis Edgar, died in infancy, 1888. He is buried at the Adobe church outside of San Miguel in north San Luis Obispo County.
