In 1888 she, with her husband, came to Randolph County, living near this city for five years when they removed to where she died.
She was a faithful, energetic, active Christian, having united with the church when a child and being a consistent member of the Mt Plagah Baptist church at the time of her death. (There seems to be a few mistakes in the obituary regarding the number of children she had and her age.)
