Mrs Sarah Duggins

Mrs Sarah Duggins wife of A C Duggins, died at her house, three miles south of Cario, Wednesday, Nov 18 1896, age 30 and 5 months.
She leaves a husband, five sons and daughter and three step- sons, beside a host of loving friends her mound her untimely death. She was born in Kentucky and married there. In 1888 she, with her husband, came to Randolph County, living near this city for five years when they removed to where she died.
She was a faithful, energetic, active Christian, having united with the church when a child and being a consistent member of the Mt Plagah Baptist church at the time of her death. The funeral services were conducted by Pastor Rev, David E Dillman, of Rolling Home, after which the remains, followed by a large concourse of relatives and friends, were laid to rest in Grand Prairie Church Cemetery.

(There seems to be a few mistakes in the obituary regarding the number of children she had and her age.)
