HAWKINSVILLE, GA - Louise Yancey English, 87, of Hawkinsville, GA, died Thursday, November 19, 2009 in Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville. Funeral Services will be held at 2P.M. Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Clark Funeral Home with Dr. Don McClung officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens. -Mrs. English was a native of Dodge County, GA and a member of the First Baptist Church of Hawkinsville. She was retired from the Kellwood Company of Perry. -Louise was preceded in death by her husband, William M. English; parents, J. T. Yancey and Bessie Huff Yancey; sisters, Mary Lizzie Mashburn, Maude Harrell, Rose Harrell, Estelle Harrell, Katherleen Thompson, Hazel Taylor and Tennie Southerland; brothers, J. H. (Son) Yancey and A. C. Yancey. -Survivors include her daughter, Amy E. Stone (Mack) of Columbia, South Carolina; and sister, Beatrice Goss of Hawkinsville, GA. -Pallbearers will be Tommy Southerland, Scott Southerland, Joe Goss, Rudy Lancaster, Tommy Tripp and Dean Taylor. -Donations may be made to the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church Building Fund. -Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
