BERG, Ann Marie
Ann Berg, born July 7, 1935, in Malden, Massachusetts, died on December 6, 2009, in Reno, Nevada. In her younger days she loved field hockey, and always enjoyed spending summers in Nova Scotia. Following a move to the west coast, Ann spent many years residing in Southern California, where she became a fixture working at the Post Office in Mojave, Calif. In 2006, she moved to Reno, Nev., to live with her daughter Jacqueline and (special) son-in-law, Gary. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Vera and Francis Zwicker, and her husband and soul mate, Delbert. She is survived by her sister, Alice Morganti; daughter, Jacqueline (Gary) Fristed; sons Charles (Janet) Ferguson and Paul (Ruthann) Ferguson; grandchildren Melissa (Derek) Langel and Brandon (Gabby) Ferguson; best friend and bridge partner, Betty Ferbee, as well as her extended family in Oregon; step-son, Tom (Nancy) Berg and their children, Patrick and Heidi Berg; as well as numerous other family members and friends. During her lifetime, Ann touched many individuals in a special way, and was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. The family asks that she be remembered with a donation in her name to your local American Cancer Society organization. Arrangements were entrusted to the Walton Funeral Home, Reno, Nevada.
