MACON – Willard E. Cook, 83, passed away to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 6, 2009. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from 5 – 7 p.m. at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue . Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Ron Holland will officiate.

Mr. Cook was born in Washington County, the son of the late Marshall Macon Cook and Ida Price Cook. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil Cook of Sandersville and Eugene Cook of Wrightsville.

Mr. Cook was a 1959 graduate of Brewton Parker College. He owned and operated Cook's Pest Control until his retirement. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and gardening.

A loving husband, father and friend, he will be missed by his family, his loving wife, Evelyn Kirk Cook of Macon; four daughters, Wilene Joiner (Curtis) of Dobson, NC, Ilene Ferguson (Sidney) of Yatesville, GA, Wanda Bray (Gary) of Macon and Marsha Jones (Ricky) of Hawkinsville, GA; his sister, Sylvia Frost of Vidalia, GA and his eleven grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.

Snow's Memorial Chapel Funeral and Cremation Services, Pio Nono Avenue has charge of arrangements.
