Death claimed Mrs. Dorothy Jacques, of Tunkhannock RD 3, yesterday at Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock, RD.
She was born in Tunkhannock Township October 15, 1920, the former Dorothy Ayre.She and her husband, Robert Jacques, formerly operated Jacques Cutrate Store, Tunkhannock. She was a member of Tunkhannock Baptist Church and was secretary-treasurer of Tunkhannock Business Association.
Surviving besides her husband are her mother, Mrs. Charlotte Ayre, Tunkhannock; brothers, Glenn Ayre, Tunkhannock; Kenneth, Cleveland, N.Y.; Robert, Clarks Summit; Lt. Donald, with the U.S. Navy, California; sisters, Mrs. Gertrude White, Syracuse, N.Y.; Mrs. Gladys, St. Clair, Mrs. Beverly Faux, both of Tunkhannock.
Funeral will be held from the Harding Funeral Home, 64 Bridge St., Tunkhannock Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Eugene Setzer of the Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
Friends may call Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
