Philip Fleek was a son of Adam Fleek and Elizabeth Umstott. He married Rebecca Frazier on 1 Jan. 1843 in Lafayette, Tippecanoe, Indiana. They had two children, Mary Jane Fleek who became the wife of William O'Rourke, and Edmund Fleek who married Miranda Criswell. Rebecca died of Consumption at the age of 29 and Philip followed her in death at the age of 41. Mary went to stay with her uncle Benjamin in Wisconsin. Edmund Fleek married and lived in Indiana.
