Anthony Rites Held Tues. At Church Of Christ

Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Pauline Anthony, 52, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Memphis Church of Christ. Minister Gregg Whitacre officiated.

Burial was in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Spicer Funeral Home.

Born December 24, 1916, in Sulphur Springs, Gladys Pauline Booth was united in marriage to Odell Lee Anthony Nov. 18, 1939, in Memphis. She had been a resident of Memphis and Hall County for 41 years.

Mrs. Anthony passed away Sunday in Hall County Hospital after a brief illness.

Survivors include: her husband of Memphis; one daughter, Mrs. Clois Cobb, Jr. of Shallowatedr; her mother, Mrs. Henry Booth of Lesley; two brothers, Grover Booth of Canyon and Joe Booth of Memphis; a sister, Mrs. Frank Lewis of Morse; and two grandchildren.

Pall bearers were Leland Gillespie, W.M. Davis, Doug Burgess, Garland Moore, Elmer Watson and Don Davis.
