William C. "Bill" Carson, 96, of Bowling Green died at 12:20 p.m. June 5, 2003, at a Bowling Green nursing home. The Warren County native was a self-employed farmer and a member of Northside Church of God. He was a son of the late Silas Carson and Lennie Burns Carson and husband of the late Maggie May Epley Carson. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include a son, Danny Floyd Carson of Covington, Ga.; a daughter, Elizabeth Howard of Bowling Green; a sister, Catherine Hyde of Auburn; four brothers, Ross Carson, Charlie Carson, Lucian Carson and Lewis Carson, all of Bowling Green; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
