FUNERAL MRS BENDER
Mrs. M.J. Bender was buried last Friday afternoon at the Ida Grove cemetery, following after impressive services at the M.E. Church. Her death, which occurred Feb 22 at Randolph, Nebraska, was due to paralysis.
Magdalene Miller was born August 12, 1836 in Berks County, Pennsylvania, and was in her eightieth year at her death. She lived in Ida County nearly forty years, going to Randolph two months for a visit with her step-son, [sic] J.M. Huey.
She is survived by a brother in Pennsylvania and by five children: Wilson Bender, Ida Grove; William Bender, Los Angeles; John Bender, Vancouver, Canada; Mrs. E. B. Bauscher, Des Moines; Mrs. Lena Beager, Seattle.
