Charles Aamodt who was born November 28, 1883, in Vallers Township, Lyon County, Minnesota, the son of Gullick and Liva (Gullickson) Aamodt and who passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 1974, at the A. L. Vadheim Memorial Hospital of Tyler, Minnesota, at the age of 90 years, 3 months, and 5 days.

He was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith and was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church of Cottonwood.

On October 10, 1910 he was married to Clara Louise Denora Nelson. To this union two daughters were born: Ardith (Mrs. Arden Sween), and Vivian (Mrs. Arthur Rickford).

Charles is survived by his two daughters, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one brother, George, and a foster sister, Ruth Appelthun, both of Cottonwood, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two sisters, and three brothers.
