KENTUCKY STANDARD OBITUARY - 02/14/2005
Flossie Pauline Williams Hutchins, 80, Bardstown, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, at her residence. She was a native of Nelson County and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. In her early years she was employed by the old Cummins Distillery at Athertonville, and most of her life was a wife, mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Hutchins; her parents, Hugh Alfred and Mary Josephine Thornsbury Williams; four sisters, Thelma Williams, Catherine Douglas, Margie Bartley and Magdaline Fisher; and three brothers, Doyle Williams, J.B. Williams and Lee Williams. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Richard Hutchins; four daughters, Patricia Lee Coulter and LaDonna Faye Childers, both of Bardstown, Darlene Williams, Shepherdsville, and Carolyn Peak, Hodgenville; five sons, Harold Hutchins, Bardstown, Anthony Hutchins, Louisville, and Eddie Hutchins, Terry Hutchins and Michael Hutchins, all of New Haven; 29 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Hubert Williams, Cox's Creek. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Bardstown, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Steve Pohl will officiate. Visitation is after 3 p.m. today at Greenwell-Houghlin Northside Funeral Home including a prayer service at 7 p.m. Pallbearers are Travis Pottinger, Todd Pottinger, Chad Coulter, Kevin Coulter, Frankie Peak, Richard Peak, Eric Hutchins, John Eddie Hutchins, Jeremy Hutchins, Aaron Childers, Brandon Childers and Josh Faulkner. Greenwell-Houghlin Northside Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
