Andrew Jackson Moore, 70, son of Joe and Adeline McCullough Moore, died July 6, 1958 at his home near Liberty. He was born July 28, 1888 in Madison County, Arkansas.

His wife was the former Stella Gurley, and they were the parents of seven children. One daughter, Flora Moore in deceased.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Stella Moore of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Elsie Barker of Jerome, Idaho, Mrs. Bonnie Armer of Berryville, Ark., Mrs. Barrie Parkie of Fayetteville, Ark., and Mrs. Imogene Phillips of Monett, Mo., two sons, Fred Moore of Oologah, Okla., and Claude Moore of Kingston, Ark.; one brother, Alex Moore of Kingston; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Moore attended the United Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, at the Liberty Church, conducted by Rev. Clyde Johnson. Pallbearers were Edward Jones, Ray Griggs, Henry Madewell, Neeley Griggs, Floyd Bunch, and Clyde Sugg. Burial was in the Liberty cemetery, directed by the Nelson Funeral Home of Berryville.
