Ted E. Sanders, 76, of Oklahoma City died Thursday, July 19, 2001. He was born Jan. 8, 1925, in Fanshaw. He was employed by Overhead Door Company in Oklahoma City and in 1958 he acquired the franchise for Overhead Door Company of Eastern Oklahoma in Tulsa. He was a member of Portland Avenue Baptist Church. Funeral was July 23 in Resurrection Cemetery Chapel in Oklahoma City with entombment in the mausoleum under the direction of Mercer-Adams Funeral Service of Bethany, Okla. He is survived by his wife, Maxine; a daughter, Gayla M. Wicker of Oklahoma City; a sister, Mary Nell Holt of Muldrow; a brother, G.W. "Dub" Sanders of McAlester, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
