Jane Montague Salisbury, 84, of Baldwinsville died Tuesday at Birchwood Health Care Center.
Born in Baldwinsville, she lived in Woodgate for nine years before returning to Baldwinsville. She retired in 1976 from Seneca Federal Savings & Loan Association, Baldwinsville. She and her husband formerly owned Salisbury's Red & White Food Store, Baldwinsville. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville, a charter member of the Lionaides, Baldwinsville, a charter member of the Greater Baldwinsville Ambulance Corps and a founder of the Baldwinsville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. In 1964 she was named Baldwinsville Woman of the Year.
Her husband, Arthur L., died in 1996.
Survivors: A son, John A. of Potomac, Md.; a sister, Catherine M. Rice of Baldwinsville; a brother, Pierre Montague of Marcellus; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
