MRS. JOHN PLYMESSER
DIED A ARNOLDS PARK

After several weeks of liiness, Mary A. Plymesser passed away on Sunday afternoon, July 22, at her home in Arnolds Park, Iowa, where she had resided for the last 17 years, aged 64 years, 9 months and 19 days.

She was born in Jones county, Iowa, October 3, 1869. when she was but a child her parents moved to Greene county, Iowa, near Scranton. The family later moved to Carroll county, Iowa, near Gidden, where they resided for eighteen years.

Mary A. Dickey was united in marriage to John Plymesser in 1889. To this union were born two sons and one daughter. The sons, Frank Plymesser of Milford, Iowa, and Vern Plymesser of Arnolds Park, both survive. The husband passed away 11 years ago and later on in the same year the daughter, Anna (Plymesser) Towers, was also called to her eternal home.

The deceased is survived by two sisters and two brothers; Mrs. Will Umbaugh, of Milford; Mrs. Venna Bogart, Oregon City, Ore.; L. D. Dickey, Rockwell City, and Don Dickey, of Hemingford, Nebr. A brother, Charles preceded her in death and a sister, Trinney, died in infancy.

Mrs. Plymesser was converted several years ago and united with the Friends church. Her loyalty to the church and many deeds of loving service will long be remembered.

Not only the loved ones of the departed but also a large circle of neighbors and friends mourn her passing.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Friends church in Arnolds Park by her pastor, Rev. Theodore Foxworthy, and interment was made in the local cemetery.
