Lovington, Sept. 27 - News of the marriage of Thomas H. Curtis, formerly of this place, has just reached his friends here, who were taken somewhat by surprise. He was united in marriage with Miss Sadie A. Evans, of Penfield, Ill., Sept. 9. They will reside at Penfield.
Mr. Curtis is a civil war veteran and divided his time with a son and a daughter in Indiana and the soldiers' home in Danville. He left Lovington several years ago.
