Mrs. Knight was born February 5, 1926, in Timmonsville and was a daughter of James Foster Hill and Annie Oliver Hill.
She was a graduate of Sardis High School; a 40 plus years Sales and Marketing Department employee for Oneita Industries; and a member of the Andrews First Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for the Adult, Youth and Senior Adult classes, served on numerous church committees, and in the Women's Mission Union.
She leaves behind two children, Jerry Knight and wife Allison and Jeanette Flegel; four grandchildren, Richard Knight, Rozlind Hardman, Chuck Flegel, and Jeffrey Flegel; four great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild; one brother, James Russell and wife Evelyn and three sisters, Marion H. Anderson, Emma Jean H. Skinner, and Rebecca Kirby.
She was predeceased by her parents and a son-in-law.
Interment was in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
