Sherley Ann Burns, 9-months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V.H. Burns, of Leslie, died at the city hospital Sunday night at 7:30 o'clock, after a short illness.
Besides her parents, the baby is survived by five sisters, Reba, Dorothy, Margie, Betty, and Peggy Burns, all of Leslie; two brothers, Jack and Bobby Burns; and several aunts and uncles.
The funeral was to be held at 3:30 p.m. today from the Pleasant Grove Baptist church, with Rev. W.J. Adair officiating. Interment was to be in the church yard cemetery, with Williams Funeral Home in charge.
