FORMER EDITOR SUICIDES
Joe G Upton, former editor and publisher of the El Dorado Springs News, committed suicide in his home in that city the fore part of last week by hanging himself from a rafter in the attic of his home. He had been missing from home for more than two days and the dead body was found by his daughter when she went to the attic for some canned fruit. No cause was assigned for the act unless it was due to temporary insanity. He had recently suffered from some financial losses due to speculation, but still had considerable property intact.
