Ruth St. Clair Barnett, 72, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, November 8, 1995. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Virgil H. St. Clair and Samuel W. Barnett. She attended Penn Forest Weslyan Church. Surviving are a daughter, Sandra S. Puckett; grandchildren, Larry G. Puckett Jr. and wife, Amy D. Puckett, Brian S. Puckett; great-granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Puckett; special friend, Robert Guthrie; brothers-in-law, Lynwood Barnett and wife, Fran, all of Roanoke, Eugene Barnett and wife, Betty, of Salem; many other friends and relatives, including Michael and Assunta St. Clair, of Roanoke, Patricia Jones, of California, and Gregg and Pat Hillyer, of Ohio. Services will be at Oakey's South Chapel 10 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 1995. The Rev. Gregory Reynolds, Rev. David Vanderpool, and the Rev. Greg Hornback will officiate. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel where the family will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday.
