Obituary published in the "Roanoke Beacon" 9/26/1913:
A Good Woman Gone. On Monday morning Sept.,. 15 the angel of Death entered the home of Mess. C. W. and L. H. Ange near Plymouthjand claimed as its own the spirit of their dear old mother, Mrs. Emma Ange, age 73 years. The deceased had lived out more than her alloted time, but it had been a life well spent. She reared a large family, ' training them in an humble way to tread the path that! she had trod, which lead but back to Gcd. On the 23rd pf July Mrs. Ange had the misfortune to fall out Ihs door dislocating her hip. Despite the efforts of her physician she i ever, fully recovered and the confinement caused a complication of diseases which ended in death. The deceased was a consistent member of the Christian Church "Christian Hope", and died as she had lived, a holy life leaving to her family and friends that b'.essed heritage, a good name. The remains were laid to rest on Wednesday in the Jackson Cemetery on Long Ridge.
