"North Platte Telegraph", April 20, 2013 - Kenneth L. Reeves, 94, passed away at Great Plains Regional Medical Center on April 18, 2013. He was born February 13, 1919 at Blair, NE to Omer L. & Mary Hutchison Reeves. In 1920 the family moved to a farm in Bignell community. There he attended Bignell School and graduated from Maxwell High School with the Class of 1937.

In 1941 he enlisted in the Army Air Corps serving stateside and in the Pacific as a member of the Seventh Air Force. Upon discharge in 1945 he returned to the family farm. On February 23, 1947 he was united in marriage to Jeanne L. Boyer, to this union two children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Linda.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne; son, Bruce; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a sister, Audrey Simon. It is requested that there be no memorials. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2013 at Plainview Cemetery at Maxwell. Visitation will be on Sunday, 1 – 6 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
