Kokomo Tribune - Wednesday, 9 January 1980: INDIANAPOLIS - Services for Richard Dean Linn Sr., 49, 347 N. Ewing, Indianaplis, were conducted Tuesday at Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel here. Graveside services and burial were in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kokomo. Linn, formerly of Kokomo, died in Wishard Memorial Hospital here Thursday, Jan. 3, 1980, after suffering an apparent heart attack earlier in the day at the Circle Tower building. Born in Kokomo June 8, 1930, he was the son of Robert D. and Ruth (Bartlett) Linn. Survivors include a son, Richard D. Linn Jr. of Houston, a daughter, Sherry Fawcett of Houston, and a brother, James Linn of Costa Mesa, Calif. He had serviced with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
