Her parents were Thomas Lester of England and Edna Pearl Weed of Indiana.

Eunice first marriage was to Alvin Edwin Beck and they had a son, Lowell A Beck, born in 1922. At the time Lowell was born, Eunice was listed as 16 yrs old and Alvin was 22 yrs old.

It appears Eunice and Alvin Beck divorced after the 1930 Census. She then married John Edward Kramer in 1931/32. Husband John Kramer was a bus driver for years and retired. John later became ill and died in 1949 per John's obituary.

Eunice married to divorcee Marvin Edington in Marion Co, IN, on 22 Oct 1950.

Marvin Edington: Marvin's first wife was Lola Martin whom he married on 25 Oct 1923 in Jeffersonville, IN. By the time Marvin enlisted in the military on 23 Mar 1942, he was listed as divorced without dependents. After Eunice died in 1967, Marvin remarried on 14 Sep 1968 in Evansville, Vanderburgh, IN, to 59 yr old widow Nellie A Padgett Nigh (nee Emery).

Story as told by John David Shoup (#47212561) to Sherlocks Cousin(John's daughter): John and Lowell Beck (Eunice's son) were the best of buddies in the service. After Lowell's death, Eunice semi-adopted John as her own son and eventually John's children were considered her grandchildren. During the war in the Philippines and on the last day that Lowell was alive, Lowell gave my Dad his wallet and watch and told my Dad he wouldn't be coming back alive. Lowell died that day.
