Myer Solis-Cohen served as a Colonel in the Medical Corps, United States Army during World War I.

He was a son of Jacob DaSilva Solis-Cohen and Miriam (Binswanger) Solis-Cohen.

He was commissioned into the Officers' Reserve Corps, U.S. Army on April 25, 1917 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with the rank of Captain.

He was stationed at the Medical Officers' Training Camp at Camp Greenleaf, Georgia from June 21 to August 6, 1918.

He then served at Base Hospital No. 59 from September 1, 1918 to January 13, 1919.

He then served at Field Hospital No. 37, 6th Division from January 17, 1919 to March 2, 1919.

He then served with the 78th Field Artillery, 6th Division from March 2, 1919 to June 30, 1919.

He was at Camp Dix, New Jersey from July 5 to July 28, 1919.

He served overseas from September 8, 1918 to June 19, 1919.

He received his discharge from the Army on July 28, 1919 at Ft. Dix, New Jersey.

He was interred in the Gettysburg National Cemetery on November 13, 1974.
