Cardie May Campbell, 82, of Ohesson Manor Nursing Home, Lewistown, formerly of Lewistown RR2, died at 9:18 a.m. Tuesday, October 1, 1996, at Ohesson Manor.

Born April 8, 1914, in Honey Grove, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Furman and Carrie Florence (Neely) Allen.

Her husband, J. Albert Campbell, preceded her in death.

Surviving are: children, Mrs. Rick [Miriam] Williams, Lewistown RR1, Larry Campbell, McClure; brothers and sister, Ira Allen, Port Royal, Verna Palm, Port Royal, George Allen, Lewistown; six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

She was employed at American Viscose Corp., Lewistown, for 42 years, retiring in 1972.

She was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.

She was a member of Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church, Lewistown and the Avisco 25-Year Club.

Services were held Friday at Hoenstine Funeral Home, Inc., Lewistown, with Rev. Thomas B. Morningstar, officiating. Interment was in Juniata Memorial Park.
