Henry Weaver, near Fairfield in this county, died May 5, 1888 at the age of sixty-five years. He was born in Switzerland County and lived there until he was twenty-eighty years old and then moved to this county. In 1862 he became a Christian, and his life was consistent. He greatly loved the church. His married life was happy, and he was a good loving husband and father.
Six children born to them, five of whom with his wife survive him. His wife was Miss Sarah Ellis, and they were married October 23, 1850. He was an Odd Fellow, and the Sharpsville Lodge buried him with their usual ceremony. The sermon was preached by E. L. Frazier to a very large assembly at 2 p.m. on May 6. Interment in Albright Cemetery.
