Edith M. Shrader, 79, a resident of
Forest Park Healthcare Center
Kokomo, died there at 10 a.m., Thurday, Nov. 8, 1979.
She was born in Tipton County Sept.
19, 1900, the daughter of Jesse a
Mary Elizabeth Davis Ryan. She was
married Aug. 28, 1919 to Walter E.
Shrader, who died July 23, 1973.
Surviving are a daughter, Luree
Cooper of Kokomo; two sons, Harold
Shrader of Kokomo and Wayne Shrader
of Greentown; two brothers, Ralph
Ryan of Kokomo and Darrell Ryan of
Cutler; three sisters, Esta Baker of
Kokomo, Anna Mae Lungsford of New
Waverly and Leona Orem of Forest; 12
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A son and a sister preceded her
in death.
She had been employed at Globe
American Corp., Stellite Division Cabot
Coro, and Cuneo Press of Indiana and
was a member of the Church of the
Brethren, Eagles Auxiliary and
Pocahontas Lodge.
Services were Monday in Kokomo
with burial at Albright Cemetery in
Kokomo.
