Keith Alan McCain, 53, Windfall, went to be with his Lord at 5:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis.
He was born Sept. 24, 1954, in Tipton, the son of Paul and Crystal (Hunt) McCain.
He retired from DaimlerChrysler, Kokomo Transmission Plant on June 30, 2007, with 31 years seniority. He worked at the plant in skilled trades as a cutter grinder.
He was a member of Gospel Light Mission Church in Kokomo. He loved fishing, camping, grilling and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Myra (Byers) McCain; a daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Nathan Grell of Tipton; a son, Brad Marr of Kokomo; grandchildren Michael and Samantha Marr of Kokomo; a sister, Helen Roe of Bowling Green; nieces Sue Jones, Linda Avery and Becky Morris; nephews Chris Roe and Andy McCain; beloved in-laws Elmer and Kathy Byers; and special friends John Homme, Jerry Norris and Richard Munns; and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Don “Buddy” McCain, and a nephew Doug McCain.
Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 S. Webster St. Pastors Mark Engle and Joe Coffin will officiate. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
