William Lerche, 66, operator of a grain elevator business at Potter, died early Wednesday evening at his home after a short illness.
He was born March 28, 1884, in the town of Rantoul, and made his home in the village of Potter since 1917. He was in the feed business there for many years. His marriage to Helena Bettner was performed at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed Church at Potter on Oct. 3, 1908.
Survivors are his widow and one sister. Mrs. Sophia Illian, Waukesha, Wis.
