Dorothy Sullivan Hembree, 86, went to be with Jesus on Saturday morning, March 24, 2007, at Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howell Hembree; father and mother, Harvey and Florence Sullivan; brother, Edward; and sisters, Georgia Maples and Coleen Farmer.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Lynn Shuler, of Oak Ridge; grandson, Travis Shuler; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth Sullivan, Jimmy and Ina Sullivan, Dennis and Sue Sullivan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Charles Webb, Sylvia and Bob Myers; and a host of relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville with the Rev. Kenneth Sullivan officiating. The family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at the funeral home to proceed to Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a 2 p.m. graveside service.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
