Harvey R. Fanny, Jr.
Age 89, of New Castle, DE, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, December 13, 2009.
Harvey was a United States Army Veteran of WWII. He retired from the Dupont Company Experimental Station.
Harvey was predeceased by his wife, Marion Harvey. He is survived by his children, Lewis Fanny and his wife Kathleen, Linda Agnew and her husband John and Peggy Abbott. He is also survived by his companion, Diane Shaw, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral for Harvey in the Chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park 2220 N. DuPont Highway NewCastle, on Thursday, December 17, at 2 pm, where visitation will begin at 1:15 pm. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Harvey may be sent to the Visiting Nurses Association #1 Read's Way Suite 100 New Castle, DE 19720.
