ORANGEBURG -- Services for Joel Tindal Livingston, 74, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Smith will officiate. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home and other times friends may call at the residence. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 1356 Amelia St., Orangeburg, 29115 or the Babcock Center P.O. Box 3817, Columbia 29230.

Mr. Livingston died Monday, March 22, 1999, at Providence Hospital in Columbia. Born in Baden, NC, he was a son of the late Hugo C. Livingston and Eloise Livingston. He was a long-time employee of Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Inc, The City of Orangeburg, and was retired from the ORangeburg Post Office. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the E.S. Jones Sunday School Class and the Men For Christ. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Burton Livingston of the home; daughter, Patricia Eulina "Lynn" Livingston of Columbia; brother, Zack E. Livingston of North; sisters, Mrs. Rachel L. Salter of Charleston, Mrs. Emma L. Craig of Atlanta; grandchildren, Rachel and Laura Livingston.
