Chloe Alyce Richardson, of Charleston, passed away December 13, 2009.

She was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Cordelia Pugh born March 9, 1911 in Weaversford, NC. She lived most of her life in Harford County, MD.

Mrs. Richardson was one of the original "Rosie, the Riviter" who worked at the Glen L. Martin Company in the Middle River and was very proud of her contribution to building aircraft for World War II.

She enjoyed traveling, visiting many states and renewing old friendships. She believed in eating healthy and exercising and was also blessed with an outstanding memory until she fell victim of Alzheimers.

Mrs. Richardson was married to the late J. Wayne Richardson for over 57 years and is survived by Franklin Donald Richardson and wife Elizabeth of Parkville, MD, Helen Grace Ward (and late husband, Harold) of Summerville, SC and the late Clifford Wayne Richardson (Sandy) of Bamberg, SC. She also is survived by six grandsons: Dean Ward, Randy Ward, Brian Richardson, Steven Richardson, Russell Richardson and Jeffery Richardson; three great-grandsons, nine great-granddaughters and one great-great-granddaughter.

Interment was in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, MD.
