Betty Brewer and Theodore Brewer

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg for Betty Brewer, 77, and her son, Theodore Brewer, 50, both of Hattiesburg, who died March 27, 2005, in a house fire in St. Tammany, La.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Mrs. Brewer was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She Brewer was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Brewer; two sons, Rayburn Brewer and Cecil Brewer; two daughters, Maybelle Williams and Zetta Brewer; and a grandson, John McDaniel.

Mr. Brewer was self-employed in construction and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, C.W. and Betty Brewer.

Mrs. Brewer is survived by two sons, Marvin Brewer Sr. and Norvell Brewer, both of Petal; three daughters, Margaret Loper of Bush, La., Mary McDaniel and Betty Stiglets, both of Moselle; three sisters, Lucille Cooley and Genevia Cooley, both of New Orleans and Gladys Cooley of Waynesboro; three brothers, Jr. Cooley, Paul Cooley and Robby Cooley, all of Waynesboro; 24 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Mr. Brewer is survived by three sisters, Margaret Loper of Bush, La., Mary McDaniel and Betty Stiglets, both of Moselle; and two brothers, Marvin Brewer Sr. and Norvell Brewer, both of Petal.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
