Born July 2, 1894, in Casey County, she was the daughter of Franklin B. and Sarah M. Tarter Roy, both of whom preceded her in death.
She married Ottis Howson in 1908. He preceded her in death in 1937. She married Berry B. Bentley in 1950. He preceded her in death in 1973.
Survivors include four children, Frank Howson and Elbert J. Howson, both of Louisville, Arthur P. Howson, Eubank, and Mrs. Eva Jeffers, Cincinnati; a step-daughter, Mrs. Juanita Cromer, Mt. Vernon; a brother, Fred Roy, Indianapolis, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was a homemaker and member of the Eubank Church.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Rev. H.R. Watson officiating.
Burial was in Eubank Cemetery.
