Mrs. Hightower dies Sunday in El Paso
Funeral services for Mrs. Eula B. Hightower, 71, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kaster and Maxon Downtown Chapel in El Paso, with the Rev. Cyril Stone officiating. Entombment was in Restlawn Mausoleum. Mrs. Hightower died Sunday morning.
Active pallbearers were Andy Moore, Harr Moore, Edward Nunn, Ed Griffin, Tommy Hyatt and Bartley McDonald. Honorary pallbearers were Robert M. Timberlake, Hall Brunner, Roy A. Gunter, Joe T. Baker, W. S. Warnock and Robert V. Middleton.
Mrs. Hightower had been a resident of this area for 37 years.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Hightower, Deming; one son, Charles H. Bussey and wife, Elizabeth; one sister, Mrs. Harry Lees, Big Spring, Texas; and one brother, Berton Brown, Santa Fe.
