KERNERSVILLE-William Henry Murray, 84, well-known Belews Creek farmer, died at his home yesterday afternoon at 3:10 o'clock after an illness of nine months.. Mr. Murray was born in Rockingham County, January 25, 1859. He was a member of Belews Creek Christian Church and the Belews Creek Junior Order. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Sallie Cook Murray; two daughters, Mrs. O. J. Mabe of Stokesdale and Miss Emma D. Murray of Belews Creek; three sons, H. C. Murray of Belews Creek, Route 1; William Howard Murray of Belews Creek, Route 1 and J. E. Murray of Greensboro; one brother, Joseph Allen Murray of Belews Creek.; 13 grand-children and four great-grand-children. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Belews Creek Christian Church, Rev. W.E. Wisseman will conduct the services. Burial will be in the church graveyard.
